Meet the Magic Behind the Mixer
BatchLife Bakery began with one woman, one oven, and one big dream — to blend her love for baking with the beautiful chaos of motherhood. Trained at The Culinary Institute of Virginia and backed by years in the food service world, she stepped back to raise a family, but never stopped craving the creative spark of the kitchen.
Now? She’s baking up bold, unexpected twists on classic treats, one small batch at a time — with flavors that surprise, delight, and keep you coming back for “just one more.” With a whisk in hand and a whole lot of heart, she’s redefining what self-care tastes like.

From Flour-Dusted Dreams to Full-Blown Flavor Boss
What started as a humble table at a local farmers’ market has grown into BatchLife Bakery — a beloved fixture at events and festivals across the region. Built on bold flavors, premium ingredients, and a refusal to cut corners, BatchLife isn’t just about sweets — it’s about creating small, joyful pauses in a too-busy world.
The woman behind the whisk? Born in Hawaii, raised in a military family, and shaped by a childhood spent bouncing between the U.S. and Japan. At just 9 years old, she fell in love with the kitchen — a love that would lead her to formal training at The Culinary Institute of Virginia.

After graduation, she made her way to Arkansas, where motherhood pulled her from the kitchen into restaurant service life. But with baby number two came a powerful realization: it was time to come back to her roots and reclaim her dream on her own terms.
That dream became BatchLife — named in honor of life’s unpredictable, messy, beautiful “batches.” Through divorce, single parenting, and even recovering from ankle surgery, she’s stayed the course — building a bakery that serves up comfort, creativity, and a whole lot of heart.

"For me, BatchLife isn’t just about baking — it’s about building something steady, something mine. I’ve worked jobs that drained me, where I was barely keeping my head above water. This bakery is my way forward — a chance to create joy through my treats while building a life rooted in stability and purpose. More than anything, I want my kids to see what it looks like to grow something little by little. To know that with patience and persistence, their dreams are absolutely possible."
